Gear lube leaking from the axle tubes is a sign that the inner seals are likely to be worn or damaged. These seals are located in the housing, just outboard of the differential bearings. Disassembly of the axle and removal of the carrier is required to install these seals. These seals fit all Dana 30 axles that do NOT use an axle disconnect system.
